Forming and Press

The Forming and Press stage is the culmination of the production process, where wood particles, fibers, or strands are transformed into a solid, homogeneous finished product. Through advanced forming systems, the material is distributed onto a belt to create a uniform and accurately calibrated “mat.” Precision at this stage is critical: sophisticated electronic controls regulate weight distribution both transversally and longitudinally, ensuring that the board’s density meets strict market quality standards.

Once formed, the mat is conveyed to the press, where the combined action of pressure and heat activates the resin’s chemical processes. The range includes technologies for managing continuous, single-opening, and multi-opening presses, integrated with steam injection and surface damping systems. These thermal treatments accelerate glue curing times, increasing production line capacity and improving the board’s surface finish.
